Your Mission

We are now looking for a Leisure Teacher/Educator and offer a full-time position (100%). Together with other leisure teachers, you will be responsible for planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up of activities in the leisure center based on the curriculum's goals.

During school hours, you will collaborate with classroom teachers and work as a resource at the class level or with individual students. The work includes overall responsibility for the students' social and academic development. As a teacher in the leisure center, you make a significant difference for the student. You are present throughout the day and gain a comprehensive view of how the student and the group function during both school hours and leisure activities. This gives you fantastic opportunities to analyze the student's needs and provides you as an educator with good opportunities to create activities that strengthen the student and the group in their schooling.

You will conduct break activities, activities in creation, movement, conflict management, play, and social community, as well as support students in learning during the school day. If you are qualified to teach a subject, teaching in that subject may also be included in your duties. The school works digitally in many areas (Google environment) and uses digital tools in teaching.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed teacher/educator for leisure centers. You have good knowledge of the leisure center's governing documents and a genuine interest in students' learning and development. You plan, implement, document, and follow up on activities in the leisure center both independently and together with colleagues. In your pedagogical leadership, you are a secure and clear leader who has the ability to create a working environment characterized by knowledge, security, and study peace. You should be familiar with working with digital tools. Personal suitability is of great importance. Please attach your CV and cover letter to your application. Other

The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months (provided you meet the requirements for eligibility under the Education Act). Start date by agreement.
